We want kids to know Jesus, love His Word, and experience church as a safe and joyful place. We offer age-appropriate classes and care for children during our Sunday gatherings.

Our Heart for Kid’s Ministry at First Baptist

First Baptist Kids exists to come alongside parents as they raise their children to know and follow Jesus. Our heart is to provide a safe, welcoming, and joyful environment where kids are known and cared for, learn the story of Scripture, and grow in their understanding of the gospel. We want Sunday mornings to help lay a biblical foundation that supports the discipleship already happening at home.

Important Details

Family Worship: Families are always welcome to worship together. Children’s worship resources are available in the foyer near the check-in printers.

Elementary: Children check in before the 10:00 a.m. service and join their parents for the first worship set. When children are released, teachers meet them in the foyer and safely walk them upstairs to Room 3. Children are picked up by their parents, with claim tags in room 3 at the end of the worship service.

Safety: All Kids Ministry volunteers are trained, background checked, vetted, and known by church leadership. We maintain a two-person policy in classrooms, with additional staff and a church security team providing support and accountability.
