Hleb and Sasha grew up in Belarus and were involved in ministry there until the political situation became so bad they had to leave. They have been in Portugal for a number of years ministering to refugees from Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. It is a challenge to minister to all three groups at once. Hleb leads a weekly Bible study for this group and they have started a sunday school ministry. In addition, they help new refugees find housing, employment and and how to navigate a new culture.
Also Hleb does some preaching and translation work for the international church they are affliated with.
