Cathy Johnson – Recently, Cathy broke her leg and and got surgery. Please pray for comfort, both physical and emotional, and for a quick recovery.
Spiritual Formation – With a number of studies and classes occurring, pray for spiritual growth for the church. Pray that God would equip and mature First Baptist for the work of ministry.
Ethiopia, Kenya, & Somalia – These countries are experiencing their worst drought in 40 years causing widespread hunger and the loss of livestock. Pray for this area of the world, that God would resolve this drought and use this current suffering to bring people to Jesus.
Men & Women’s Bible Studies – Pray that God would work through our Bible studies to lead us into a deeper knowledge of Jesus Christ and grow community in the church.
Fields of Faith – FCA has one of their biggest events of the year coming up. On October 11th at the Fort Lewis College football field at 6:30 p.m. there will be a night of worship, student testimonies, a guest speaker, and free dinner. This event is a peer-to-peer movement students from across the nation gather to share faith stories preach the Gospel. Pray for that God would work through this event to bring many to Christ.
